The DachGam membranes are a new-generation solution for roofing the industrial, warehousing and office facilities and residential buildings, for refurbishment of old roofs (e.g. covered with a roofing paper) and for buildings of an innovative architectural design.
- as outer roofing in case of inaccessible roofs,
- as a waterproofing for ballast inaccessible roofs,
- as a waterproofing in reverted roofs used as observation decks, tennis courts or green roofs.
Produkt line DachGam SZ – roofing membrane with grid reinforcement. Basic material for roofing and refurbishment of flat roofs. DachGam S – non-reinforced roofing membrane. Supplementary material used to form details on the roof, additional roof elements and those roof areas, which are subject to major deformation. Additionally, the DachGam SZ is provided in dark ash grey, with a surface pattern, for applications to communication routes. In case of modernisation of roofs covered with roofing paper, it is necessary to lay a separation cloth layer between the existing roofing and DachGam SZ roofing membrane.
DachGam membranes are a multi-ply material
- the outer layer is responsible for resistance to external factors (UV radiation, acid rains, particles in the air),
- the grid reinforcement is responsible for mechanical parameters (puncture and tear resistance),
- the inner layer is responsible for the quality of the weld – durable, homogeneous adherence to the outer layer; it provides the proper thickness of the membrane.
Technical parameters
Features - resistance to weather conditions, including UV rays, acid rains, natural ageing, - low weight of the roofing (up to 2,1 kg/m2), - resistance to heat and fire, - high wear, puncture, and tear resistance, - high mechanical strength of welded and adhesive joints, - fully waterproof, - easy repairable if damaged, - 10 years‘ guarantee, - ecological aspects: the DachGam membranes can be fully recycled, - in case of refurbishment it can be applied onto the existing roofing. Thanks to this method the user does not have to bear the costs of removal and recycling of the old roofing. It also improves the thermal insulation parameters of the roof thanks to a ventilation system between the two layers of the roofing, which dries the thermal insulation and the layers of the old roofing. - broad applicability range: can be applied both to inaccessible and accessible roofs.
